...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN UINTAH AND
NORTHWESTERN GRAND COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM MDT...

At 607 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 26 miles northeast of Sunnyside to 45 miles
east of Wellington to 8 miles south of Green River. Movement was
northeast at 30 mph. Trained spotters reported low visibility in
blowing dust to the east of Green River.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Green River.

This includes Interstate 70 in Utah near mile marker 164, and between
mile markers 168 and 180.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Colorado, southwest
Colorado, west central Colorado, east central Utah, northeast Utah
and southeast Utah.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected north of I-70 today
with gusty outflow winds and small hail likely over wetting rain.
Some showers will linger tonight. Dry, warm and breezy weather
continues down south with localized areas of elevated fire weather
conditions. However, fuels have not yet been declared critical.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Showers and storms increase in coverage up north on Monday as the
next system pushes through. Areas south of I-70 will stay dry with
breezy conditions as winds gust in the 25 to 35 mph range. Areas of
elevated fire weather conditions are possible over the Four Corners.
However, fuels have not yet been declared critical. Showers become
more widespread late Monday and Tuesday before drier and cooler air
arrives for Wednesday. Additional systems look to impact the area
late in the week.
